Question 796587
hello. this is the problem that I have. (-9x^3+3x^2-15x)/(-3x)
I do not think I did this equation right.
----
There is no equation. Equations have equal signs. It's a division problem.
----
 here are the steps I took
(-9x*-9x*-9x)(3x*3x)-15x  ****  9x^3 = 9*x*x*x  only one 9
(-9x)^3 would be -9x*-9x*-9x
------
(-729x+9x-15x / -3x  What happened to the x^3 and the x^2 ?
-735x/-3x= 245x
========================
(-9x^3+3x^2-15x)/(-3x)
= (-9x^3)/(-3x) + (3x^2)/(-3x) - (15x)/(-3x)
= 3x^2 - x + 5
