Question 789349
The definition of power with a negative exponent is the inverse of the power with the opposite exponent:
{{{a^(-b)=1/a^b}}}
{{{6^(-1)=1/6^1=1/6}}}
{{{3/6^(-1)=3/((1/6))=3*(6/1)=3*6/1=3*6=18}}}
Basically, if you do not want to have a power with a negative exponent, you just move the power to the other side of the fraction bar and drop the minus sign, as in
{{{3^(-7)x^2/4^(-6)/y^(-5)=4^6x^2y^5/3^7}}}
