Question 66608
Here is my question:

6 - sqrt of 20
-------------- = ?????
2
I came up with 6 - sqrt of 5. I am not sure if this is correct. I need someone to let me know if I am doing this stuff correctly, please.

YOU ARE ON THE RIGHT TRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU MUST HAVE FORGOTTEN TO ALSO DIVIDE 6 BY 2

(6-sqrt(20))/2 this equals

(6-sqrt(4)(5))/2 and this equals

(6-2sqrt5)/2 which equals

6/2-(2sqrt5)/2= and this reduces to:

3-sqrt5

ck by using a calculator

Hope this helps----ptaylor
