Question 772398
I do the first the first one here

(1)The average of four numbers is exactly 32. The largest of the four numbers exceeds twice the smaller number by 10 and is 5 more than one of the other numbers. THe remaining number is one half as great as the largest of the 4 numbers. What is the largest of the 4 numbers?

If x = greatest number

smaller = (x-10)/2

other number x-5

other number x/2

Average is 32 so the sum is 4(32) = 128

Then  x+(x-10)/2+x-5+x/2 = 128

(2x-5)+(2x-10)/2 = 128

2x-5+x-5=128

3x-10 = 128

3x = 138

x = 46
