Question 768376
I need help please. Simplify 5[sqrt2]/2-i by rationalizing the denominator.

I multiplied it by 2+i/2+i, right? I ended up w/ the answer of 15i[sqrt2]/4-i
---------
it's (10*sqrt(2) + 5i*sqrt(2))/(4-i^2)
The DEN is 4 - i^2 = 5
= (10sqrt(2) + 5i*sqrt(2))/5
= {{{2sqrt(2) + i*sqrt(2)}}}
