Question 762948

I am stuck on a problem and I got one answer where there was no solution.
I kind of understand but not totally. Would like some help and steps taken would be helpful.
    Solve using the Quadratic Formula:

3/4x^2 - 2x + 1/2 = 0.

Please help!!!!

For you or anyone else to see where you went wrong, don't you think it'd be wise to include your method used in determining a non-solution?

FYI:
I got {{{highlight_green(x = 2.387425887)}}}, or {{{highlight_green(x = 0.2792)}}}

You can do the check!!
