Question 760702
Why do you want to exclude values from the domain? The domain is the set of input values or acceptable values for the independent variable, x.

The denominator is {{{-9(x^2-3x-4)=-9(x-4)(x+1)}}}, and because this is the denominator, you must not allow it to be zero. This effectively means {{{x<>4}}} and {{{x<>-1}}}.
