Question 65501
Once you have come up with the answer you will need to use the Excell program to make a templet to make the linear graph. The equation editor is only to make the mathmatical equations it is not much help when you graph. To make the graph on excel you will need to go to VIEW, TOOLBARS, BORDERS. There will be a toolbar that pops up on the screen to create your borders to make a line graph to represent your figures. Just highlight by pointing and dragging across then select the bold line. Under your lines number them, if your answer is positive you will want to number them 1,2,3 if it is a negative number you would want to number them -1,-2,-3. Then you would mark your lines resembling your answer, for instance if x is greater than 4 that you would show the mark at the 4 on the linear graph and an arrow going in the positive direction since we do not know what x is it can be any number after 4. After you have created your linear graph you can copy and paste it to your word document under your original problem.
