Question 754292
3y - 9x = 18

Solve for y:
1. 3y= 9x + 18
2. y= 3x + 6 (This is the equation you will graph)

To graph:
option A.
Make a table for y = 3x +6.
If x =0, y=6
If x =1, y=9
If x =-1, y=3
You could get as many points as you like, however you need at least TWO, to be able to draw the line.

Option B.
For y = 3x +6.
Make x =0, to get your y intercept. In this case, for x=0, y= 6.
Then look at your slope, this is the coefficient of x. In this case 3 (POSITIVE). This can be written as 3/1.
To graph you proceed as follows.
Locate your first point (0,6) then, from 6 on your y axis, the slope on fraction form, tells you to go up 3 and right 1. (since its positive).. You coul also go down 3 and left 1, obtaining the same line once you connect both points.

If you're not sure, or have any other question email me at: mgmoeab@hotmail.com I could send you an image so you can see it better. I dont know why the graph option is not working for me.
