<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

For a point at (3,-4), the distance from the origin is 5 (because 3, 4, 5 is a Pythagorean Triple). The distance from the origin is the hypotenuse of your right triangle, so the sine is -4/5, the cosine is 3/5, the tangent is the sine divided by the cosine, the cotangent is the reciprocal of the tangent, the secant is the reciprocal of the cosine, and the cosecant is the reciprocal of the sine.
