Question 65118
y=mx+b [slope-intercept formate]
2y-3x=6 [re-write in the slope-intercept formate by solving for y]
y=3/2x+6/2
y=3/2x+3
To graph, start with the y-intercept (0,b) or (0, 3). Plot this point.
Next use the slope (3/2) and (-3/-2) to plot points away from the intercept. For example, starting at (0,3), move up three places and over 2 places. The first point will be (2, 6). Plot at least 3-4 points until you see the pattern of the line developing. Connect the dots.
.
Graphing:
{{{ graph( 300, 200, -6, 5, -10, 10, (3/2)x+3) }}}
