Question 8122
{{{7^(-5) = 1/7^5}}} = {{{1/16807}}} = 0.000059499

A number with a negative exponent means 1 over that same number but with a positive exponent.

Example:
  {{{6^(-5) = 1/6^5}}}
{{{5/7^(-8) = 5(7^8)}}}
{{{9^4 = 1/9^(-4)}}}

See how it works? If a number in the numerator has a negative exponent you can change it to a positive exponent by putting the number in the denominator.
In other words, you can always change the sign of the exponent on a number by putting it on the bottom if it's on top or putting it on top if it's on the bottom. Neat, huh?
