Question 742025
It does not need to be that exact equation. You could do the same to ANY linear equation in standard form.

{{{Ax+By=C}}}
{{{By=C-Ax}}}
{{{By=-Ax+C}}}
{{{y=-(A/B)x+C/B}}}. This IS slope-intercept form for the example equation in standard form. 'm' is {{{-(A/B)}}} slope, and 'b' is {{{C/B}}} for y-intercept.

*Conventional Understanding about variables in "algebra" is that lower-case and upper case of a letter are DIFFERENT variables. {{{B<>b}}}, {{{c<>C}}}, etc.
