Question 740829
<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

Calculate the slope of each of the graphs. If the slopes are not equal, then the lines intersect in a single point, i.e. the common solution set has exactly one element. If the slopes are equal, then you look at the constant terms. If the constant terms are also equal, the lines are coincident, i.e. the common solution set has infinite elements. If the constant terms are not equal, the lines are distinct and parallel, i.e the common solution set is the empty set.
