Question 63925
USA TWO (UT) processes and sells Tea and coffee products. UT’s revenue function is of the Form R = ax + by ( $ 000 ) , where X and Y are tons of Tea and Coffee products sold . John, in an effort to establish the specific form of the revenue function obtained the following data.
John has also established that UT’s total cost function is specifically:
C = 10x^2 + 20 y^2 + 10xy
Determine the tones of each product that should be processed and sold to maximize profit and the maximum profit

--------------
Profit = Revenue - Cost
Profit = (ax+by)-(10x^2+20y^2+10xy)
Comment: To find the maximum of the profit you could take the derivative
of this Profit equation; then find its zeroes. But the derivative expression
will have two variables and you have not been provided additional information
which could lead to a conclusive answer to the question.
