The second of 2 numbers is 5 more than twice the first is y = 2x+5<P>
 Their sum is 29 is x+y=29.<P>
Substitute 2x+5 for y in the second equation.<P>
x+2x+5=29<P>
3x=24<P>
x=8<P>
y = 2(8) + 5 = 21
