Question 722701
<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ t^2\ +\ 4z^2]

does not factor over the Real numbers. If you want to factor over the complex numbers, write back and say so.

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ y^3\ =\ y^2\ -\ 4y\ -\ 4]

Does not have rational factors. Suspect the equals sign between *[tex \LARGE y^3] and *[tex \LARGE y^2] is a typo (it factors nicely if that is a + sign instead).

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ 9t^2\ +\ 5t\ -\ 4]

Cannot be solved. You can't "solve" something that doesn't have a relational operator (=, <, >, etc.). It can be factored, but that is not what you asked.

1. Pay more attention to what you have written and correct any errors BEFORE you hit "Send"

2. Read, understand, and follow the written instructions for posting. Namely, complete explanation of what is required, complete explanation of what you do not understand, a complete description of what you have tried, and -- pay careful attention now -- ONE problem per posting.
