"e times 3 divided by 5", "e to the 3/5 power" or "(e to the third power) divided by 5"?</li><li>What is "3 1 0(log 5.2)"???</li></ul>Please re-post your questions and try to make it clear what your expressions are:<ul><li>Use the "^" character to indicate an exponent (just like on a calculator)</li><li>Use parentheses to group connected parts of an expression. For example:
e^(3/5) would mean "e to the 3/5 power i.e. {{{e^(3/5)}}}
(e^3)/5 would mean "(e to the 3rd power} divided by 5" i.e. {{{(e^3)/5}}}</li><li>If you can't figure out how to use just numbers, letters and symbols to express the problem clearly, use some English to help describe the expressions</li></ul>
