Question 718725

NOTE: SEE BELOW. NO SOLUTION!

What is that 5 step method?

You have an equation consisting of rational expressions. The lowest or simplest common denominator is {{{5(x-2)}}}. Multiply both sides of the equation by {{{5(x-2)}}} and you can eliminate the fractions. That two steps should give you immediately,

{{{3*5+2(x-2)=3*5}}}, but there is still a problem.

NOTE: The original equation has no solution. There is a common term or expression on both sides, 3/(x-2). Subtract that from both sides and you then have a false statement. Your equation has no solution.
