Question 63060
QUESTION:

following sSolve the ystems by graphing.
2x - y = 4
2x - y = 6

ANSWER:

Rewrite both equation interms of x.

==>2x - y = 4

==> y = 2x -4

2x - y = 6

==>  y = 2x - 6

Now give arbitrary values to x and get corresponding values of y for both equations.

Using these values, plot the graph.

Then it comes like this.

{{{ graph( 700, 700, -10,15, -10, 10, 2x-4, 2x-6) }}}

From the graph we can see that equations are parellel.

That means these equations have no solution.
