A pile of gravel is in the shape of a cone. If the pile is 8 feet high, and the diameter of the pile is 10 feet,how many cubic feet of gravel are in the pile?
(Hint:If the diameter is 10,what is the radius?)My answer is 279.3 cu ft. but the book answer key is 209.3 cu ft. am I wrong? yingyyl@earthlink.net
