Question 711912
A parking lot is in the shape of a triangle.
Let the angles be: A, B, C; write an equation for each statement
:
 The second angle is four times the size of the first angle.
B = 4A
:
The third angle is 45 degrees less then the sum of the first and second angles.
C = A + B - 45
Replace B with 4A (From the 1st statement)
C = A + 4a - 45
C = 5A - 45
:
We know, A+B+C = 180, replace B with 4A, replace c with(5A-45)\
A + 4A + (5A-45) = 180
10A  = 180 + 45
10a = 225
A = 225/10
A = 22.5
then
B = 4(22.5)
B = 90
and
C = 22.5 + 90 - 45
C = 67.5
:
:
See if that adds up: 22.5 + 90 + 67.5 = 180
