Question 708292
You could draw and label a triangle, one side is 8, other sides are x and y. and since x/y is 2/3, you can also make the equations:

Perimeter given as 18, so {{{8+x+y=18}}},
and since ratio of the two other sides to each other, x/y=2/3, gives you{{{ x=2y/3}}}.

Substitute that last formula for x into the perimeter equation, and solve for y; then calculate for x. You could choose other ways to solve for x and y, but that one may be simplest.

If done as I suggested, find{{{y=10*(3/5)=6}}}. y=6.
{{{x=2*(6)/3}}}=...?...
