Question 706534
A monomial literally means "one number." When you need to multiply them, you multiply each like term using exponents laws.

Example: Let's multiply the following {{{2}}} monomials:

    {{{(5x )(3x^2y)}}}...........group variables by exponent and group the coefficients (apply commutative property of multiplication)...you can write {{{x}}} as exponent like {{{x^1}}}

 {{{(5 * 3)(x^1*x^2*y)}}}

 {{{15(x^((1+2))*y)}}}

 {{{15x^3*y}}}
