Question 705353
<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

You can factor the quadratic trinomials in each of your denominators. -2 plus -10 is -12 and -2 times -10 is 20, then -10 plus -10 is -20 and -10 times -10 is 100.

The two numerators are related by a factor of -1.  Note that for all a and b in R, a - b = -(b - a).

There are no common factors within either of the two rational expressions and you didn't say how the two expressions are related. Are you trying to divide one by the other? Next time you post, please tell the WHOLE story. It is a giant pain in the ass to try to guess what you want.
