Question 703859
Sadly, you are not correct.
To compare ratio's we need to get one of the numbers to be the same!
looking at the ratios 2:15 and 1:6
we need to work with the second ratio.
1:6 can be doubled (we double both numbers) to make the first number in both ratios the same.
so we get
1:6 X 2 = 2:12
Now, comparing 2:12 and 2:15 we see the second ratio has a larger second number.
This second number represents the number of women in the swimming bath, so the ratio 2:15 has more women than the ratio 1:6
