Question 62401
If I have a formula P= -17Q + 2275 how do I express this in terms or Revenue (R) and Quantity (Q)?
-------
R usually stands for Revenue; maybe your P is price and you Q is quantity.
Can solve for Q as follows:
17Q = 2275-P
Q=(2275-P)/17
Now Revenue may be (price)(quantity).
If it is:
Revenue = PQ
R=(-17Q+2275)((2275-P)/17)
This is a mess; I'll leave it to you.
Cheers,
