Question 698496
In a parallelogram, opposite sides MUST be equal.
And in parallelogram ABCD, AD and BC are indeed opposite sides.
So just set them equal to each other and solve for x:
{{{6x-2=2x+22}}}
{{{4x-2=22}}}
{{{4x=24}}}
{{{x=6}}}
Thus, the value of x is 6.
We also now know that the length of both AD and BC is 34.
I hope this helps! Keep practicing! :)
