In any given 30-60-90 right triangle, we have a certain relationship between the legs.<br>

One relationship, is that the hypotenuse is always equal to 2 times the shortest leg.<br>

Also, we know that the longer leg is always equal to the shorter leg times the square root of 3.<br>

So, since we know the short leg is 97 inches (because it is NOT the height),<br>

then we know that the height of the tree is {{{97*sqrt(3)}}} inches,<br>

which is about 168 inches almost exactly.<br>
