Question 697930
How do you graph equations? my problem is y= (-1) and my teacher gave me a piece of grid paper but I don't understand how to do it.
-------
Draw a set of axes on the grid paper.
Plot a few points and plot each point on the x/y system.
Let x = -2 ; y = -1 gives you point (-2,-1)
Let x = 0 ; y = -1 gives you point (0,-1)
Let x = 2 ; y = -1 gives you point (2,-1)
------------
Draw a line thru the points.
You should see a horizontal line passing thru all the
points where y = -1.
