Question 696802

Please help me solve this question: f+2e=-3
5f+4e=3. Using either the elimination or substitution method.

{{{system (f + 2e = - 3______eq_(i),
5f + 4e = 3_______eq_(ii))}}}

Multiply eq (i) by - 2, and add both equations, OR
Multiply eq (i) by 2, and subtract one equation from the other

Either way, you will determine the value of f. Substitute that f-value into any of the two equations to determine the value of e.

You then do the check!!
