Question 695839
When the equation contains an inequality (<, >, <=, >=) the answer won't be one value. The answer won't be x= something. The answer is an inequality: x>= or <= something.

Solve an inequality (as long as there's no x values in the denominators of fractions) the same way you'd solve an equation, but with one exception. If you multiply or divide both sides by a negative number then flip the sign (< becomes > etc.).

6x+45<=-4x -105 ---> Add 4x to both sides and subtract 45 from both sides: 10x<=-150 ---> divide both sides by 10: x<=-15.

When in doubt about your answer plug it back into the equation to see if it's true.

Your answer x=-75 will work, but it's not the only answer.
