Question 694489
For every {{{5}}} invested by A, there was {{{7}}} invested by B, and {{{8}}}
invested by C,
for a total investment of {{{5+7+8=20}}}.
The ratio of total investment to A's investment is {{{20:5=4:1}}},
meaning that the total money invested in the partnership is {{{4}}} times A's investment.
The total profit must be {{{4}}} times A's profit, or
{{{4*42360=highlight(169440)}}}

NOTE: Those commas in your multiple choice answers puzzle me.
Either they are misplaced or there is a strange use of commas in your country that I have never seen before.
The problem mentioned a profit of {{{43260}}}, without any commas.
Some countries use a comma to separate the integer part of a number from the decimal part, so they would have at most one comma in a number.
Other countries use a dot to separate the decimal part, but use commas to separate digits in groups of three, so that 10 million dollars and 5 cents would be $10,000,000.05.
