solve this problem (+7)-(-3)+(+16)-(+8)

To me...all the extra parentheses confuse things...but some people like them...I remove them.  + keeps the sign in the parenthesis the same - makes it opposite.

I took more steps than necessary to show you...I just combined the 2 numbers on the left as I went down.
