These are NOT nearly as hard as they look!!

{{{(1/8)^(2/3) }}} means to take the CUBE ROOT of (1/8), which is 1/2.

Then RAISE to the 2 power, so the answer is {{{ (1/2)^2=1/4}}}

{{{125^(-2/3)}}} means to take the CUBE ROOT of 125, which is 5.
Then, raise to the -2 power, so the answer is {{{5^-2= 1/25}}}.
