Question 679197
Given y = -3x + 1,
start with the intercepts.
...
y intercept, b, is 1
Plot (0, 1)
...
x intercept is where y equal 0
0 = -3x + 1
-1 = -3x
x = {{{1/3}}}
Plot ({{{1/3}}}, 0)
...
{{{graph(300,200,-10,10,-10,10,-3x+1)}}}
...
Not sure where (3,3) originated either, as it is not a point on the line.
If x is 3, then
y = -3(3) + 1 = -9 + 1 = -8
Plot(3,-8)
...
If y is 3, then
3 = -3x + 1
3 - 1 = -3x
2 = -3x
x = {{{-2/3}}}
Plot({{{-2/3}}},3)
