Question 61170
Please help me solve by substitution thanks rob.

4X + 2y = 3

y = -X

here we have  y = -x

now substitute the value y = -x in the first equation

==> 4x + 2 (-x) = 3

==>      4x -2x =  3

==>  2x = 3

==>  2x/2  =3/2

==>   x = 3/2

now we have the value x = 3/2

now substitute the value x =3/2 in the second equation, y = -x

==> y = -3/2

BYE!!!!!!!!!
