Here you need to find the co-ordinates of the points.

We solve it in this manner:-

x - 2y = 2

Either we can write it as

x = 2 + 2y             or  2y = x - 2
                            y = (x - 2)/2

We can now find the points for plotting on the graph by giving
different values to y     or   x  depending on the equation used.

x = 2 + 2y

so for y = 0   we get  x = 2 + 0 = 2     point is (2, 0)
   for y = 1   we get  x = 2 + 2 = 4     point is (4, 1)

etc.

We can now plot the points and then join them to get the line for the equation.
