Question 671881
Any two points!
Choose any two and solve for the y-intercept
...
slope is {{{-5/3}}}
...
2 = (-5/3)(3) + b
b = 2 + 5 = 7
...
The line would be y = {{{-5/3}}} + 7
passing through (3, 2)
...
Use the intercept to choose another coordinate set
x = 0
y = {{{-5/3}}}(0) + 7 = 7
...
So it also passes through (0, 7)
...
Assigning different starting coordinates
-5 = {{{-5/3}}}(9) + b
b = -5 + 15 = 10
...
This line would be y = {{{-5/3}}} + 10
passing through (9, -5)
...
choosing x = -3
y = {{{-5/3}}}(-3) + 10
y = 5 + 10 = 15
So, (-3, 15) would be another one for this line.
...
{{{graph(300,200,-10,10,-10,15,(-5/3)x+7,(-5/3)x+10)}}}
