Question 671818

Please I need help to solve these word problem:

Two year ago, I was twice as old as Maria will be ten years from now. Now I am 44. How old is Maria?

Let Maria’s current age be M
Since I’m now 44, I was 44 – 2, or 42, 2 years ago
Therefore, 42 = 2(M + 10)
42 = 2M + 20
42 – 20 = 2M
22 = 2M

M, or Maria’s current age = {{{22/2}}}, or {{{highlight_green(11)}}}

You can do the check!!
