Question 668324

5n+20n=5(n+20)

5n+20n=5(n+20)
27n=100+5n
27n/5=100+5n/5
    ?=20+n

I do not know where to go from here or how to make sense of this

First of all, where did you get 27n from? Isn't 5 + 20 = 25?

5n + 20n = 5(n + 20)

25n = 5n + 100

25n - 5n = 100

20n = 100

{{{n = 100/20}}}, or {{{highlight_green(5)}}}

You can check to see if it makes sense!!
