Question 60280
Solve the equation. -6(4x+3)=6(-4x-3).
 -6(4x)-6(3)=6(-4x)+6(-3)
-24x-18=-24x-18
Do you see that the left and right side of the equation are equal?
This is an identity, If you continue to try and solve this, you'll get: 0=0.
There are infinitely many solutions, some books say that the solution is all real numbers. No matter what you put in for x, both sides will always be equal.
Happy Calculating!!!
