Hi,

The length of a rectangle is 6 meters more than twice it's width{{{highlight(x)}}}. 
The perimeter is 90 meters.
  P = 2L + 2W = 90m
  0r   L + W = 45m        L = {{{2x+6}}}
     (2x+6)+ x = 45
          3x = 39
           x = 13m, the width.  The length is 32m

{{{2*13m + 2*32m = 90m}}}
