Question 634791

the measure of an angle is 10 more than the measure of its compliment.find the measure of each angle

Let angle be A
Then its complement = 90 - A

We then have: A = 90 - A + 10

2A = 100

A, or angle = {{{100/2}}}, or {{{highlight_green(50^o)}}}

Its complement = 90 - 50, or {{{highlight_green(40^o)}}}
