I'll do the first.

3x - 4y = 5 for y

- 4y = - 3x + 5 ----- Subtracting 3x to begin the process of isolating y

{{{y = ((- 3)/- 4)x + 5/- 4}}} ----- Dividing by - 4 to isolate y

{{{highlight_green(y = (3/4)x - 5/4)}}}
