Hi,
12 less than a #{{{highlight(x)}}} is the same as 5 times the # increased by 4
Write as We Read
 x -12 = 5x + 4
   -16 = 4x
    -4 = x
and...
{{{-4 - 12 = 5*-4 + 4 = -16}}}
