Question 644891

Select the correct alternative with positive exponent only. Assume the variables represents a nonzero real number (x^-4y^2)^-3
1/x^7y
9/x^7y
x^12/y^6
x^12y^6
I have answered x^12y^6 and I wonder if I got it right? Thank you

You're almost right. It should be {{{x^12y^-6}}}, but since you need positive exponents, it's: {{{x^12/y^6}}}

{{{(x^-4y^2)^-3}}}

{{{(x^(- 4* - 3) y^(2 * - 3))}}}

{{{x^12y^- 6}}}

{{{highlight_green(x^12/y^6)}}}
