This is an isosceles triangle. So there are 2 equal sides. This means that the third side could be 5 units or 8 units. If it were 5 units, then you would have 3 side lengths of 5, 5, 8 units. If it were 8 units, then you would have 3 side lengths of 5, 8, 8 units. There are no other possibilities.
