Question 644384
Let x = # of calories in regular waffle

(# of calories in reg. waffle) - 10% of (# of calories in reg. waffle) = (# of calories in low cal. waffle)

x - 10% of x = 100

x - 0.1x = 100

0.9x = 100

x = 100/0.9

x = 111.11

So the regular waffle has roughly 111.11 calories. If you can only have a whole number of calories, then it rounds up to 112 calories.
