Question 641856

c=5/9(f-32) and explain please.. and also can u Determine how many degrees Fahrenheit 2 degrees Celsius is.

{{{c = (5/9)(f - 32)}}}

{{{2 = (5/9)(f - 32)}}} ----- Substituting 2 for c

{{{2 = 5(f - 32)/9}}}

{{{2 = (5f - 160)/9}}}

5f - 160 = 18 ----- Cross-multiplying

5f = 18 + 160

5f = 178

{{{2^0C}}} = {{{178/5}}}, or {{{highlight_green(35.6^0F)}}}
